Chevrolet first introduced the world to the fully electric, fun-to-drive Bolt in 2015 as a concept at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Just six months later, the production model was unveiled in Las Vegas. Over the years, the Bolt EV hasn’t undergone many changes, but Chevrolet recently debuted the redesigned 2022 Bolt EV as well as the all-new 2022 Bolt EUV — an electric utility vehicle.

Both models have noticeably modern exterior designs, but that’s not the only thing to celebrate. The new Bolt EUV, while offering an SUV-like and more family-friendly body style, is the first Chevrolet vehicle to offer General Motors’ Super Cruise technology. Chevrolet is also making charging both vehicles easier for customers. Instead of purchasing a separate charger for your home, you’ll get a Dual Level Charge Cord with changeable 120-volt and 240-volt plugs for Level 1 and Level 2 charging.

Inside, you’ll find premium features like a 10.2-inch infotainment color touch screen, integrated climate controls, a new electronic gear shift design, and a flat-bottom steering wheel. You can also add the available heated and ventilated front seats or a panoramic sunroof on the Bolt EUV for an extra level of prestige.

Even with all of these upgrades and advancements, Chevrolet has lowered the price of the Bolt EV by $5,000 to make going green more accessible. Its new starting price is $31,995 while the larger Bolt EUV starts at $33,995.* If you’re hoping to drive a zero-emissions vehicle in Lewisburg, West Virginia, the 2022 Bolt EV and Bolt EUV will be available this summer.
