Chevrolet has revised the timing for the launch of their refreshed new vehicles. Both the Chevrolet Equinox and Traverse are now going to be released in 2021 as 2022 models, rather than releasing in 2020 as 2021 models.
The Equinox is Chevy’s best-selling SUV, while the Traverse is the third best-selling Chevy nameplate. Fans of these nameplates can get excited about the new details on each vehicle as they’ll only make them even better.
Some of the improvements to look out for on the 2022 Equinox include redesigned front and rear fascias and a more aggressive grille. It will also be available in a new RS trim along with the L, LS, LT and Premier trims. The all-new Equinox RS includes a gloss black grille, black bowties and badging, as well as an RS shift knob and eye-catching red stitching.
The refreshed Traverse also gets redesigned front and rear fascias and all-new interior seating options. It also offers six safety features that are now standard on all trim levels and best-in-class cargo space. Other new features on the Traverse are a rear power sunshade on the available Dual SkyScape 2-panel power sunroof and an available 8-inch diagonal driver information center. New available wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ give the Traverse impressive connectivity and allow you to enjoy your vehicle’s interior.
At Greenbrier Chevrolet Buick, we think it’s a shame we’ll have to wait longer for the new Chevrolet Equinox and Traverse, though we’re no less excited for when the two SUVs do finally arrive. When they do, make sure to visit our showroom!
